After I planted two gifted coneflowers in the ground, Max shifted his role from strict supervisor to sophisticated bloom admirer. He lounged on his side at the edge of the patio in a regal pose, elegantly crossing his front paws. With his head resting gently on the bricks, he looked up at the pink blooms quietly, his gaze soft and filled with pure curiosity.
When I’m in the garden, Max is always by my side. He is incredibly cautious whenever I introduce a new plant or remove an old one. It is as if he truly owns the garden and has the ultimate authority to know the ins and outs of every single plant.
