It’s a small end table, just 19”x19” - packed with a vase, a lamp, and sometimes my book or laptop. I assumed Max wouldn’t bother exploring such a cramped spot.
One day, he proved me wrong. With a graceful leap, he landed squarely on my laptop. Then, in slow motion, he made a 180-degree turn, neatly tucked his paws, and locked eyes with me as I sat on the couch across from him. His expression said it all: “Tight space? Easy peasy.”
Only then did I realize why he occasionally stood next to the table, gazing up. He wasn’t just daydreaming - he was calculating. Plotting his move. Turns out, Max is not only a leaper but also a strategist.
The drawing practically shows the calculations in Max's mind!
